MEET THE BAND
Noah brings raw emotion and atmosphere to every performance as Broom’s lead singer. Influenced by iconic voices like Kurt Cobain, Jeff Buckley, and Layne Staley, he’s drawn to singers who aren’t afraid to lay it all on the line. For Noah, singing is more than just hitting the right notes, it’s about pushing his range, putting his own spin on each song, and creating something that feels real. It’s a form of release, a way to be heard, and a craft he’s constantly working to perfect. Whether he’s belting out a chorus or drawing the crowd in with a quiet moment, Noah’s goal is simple: make you feel it.
Carter has been drumming since he was just a wee lad. His drumming style really started to take shape as he discovered his biggest influences, such as Carter Beauford, Alex Van Halen, and Neil Peart. With the motto “go big or go home” in mind, Carter began to build his personal sound using a kit totaling 16 drums, 10 cymbals, and a gong! Using a DW Design Series drum set with Sabian Cymbals, Carter strives to one day influence a younger generation of drummers.
Ben is a huge 80s rock fan, and that comes through in his guitar playing. He has memories of singing KISS songs as early as 4 years old. Some of his influences are Ace Frehley, Adrian Smith, Paul Stanley, and Nuno Bettencourt, all of whom he's been impacted by and has listened to for years. He hopes to do the same to future guitarists.
Bodie is a guitarist that loves all things rock and metal. From being influenced early on by the Foo Fighters, he learned that music, no matter how serious its intent is, should be fun. Nowadays, he enjoys metal bands such as Sleep Token, Periphery, and Dream Theater, all of which have influenced his playing now. He uses both a 6 and a 7 string guitar for shows; if there’s a time for low notes, Bodie brings the right tools for the job. His passion for music helps him bring the energy to the stage, and he loves performing for all of Broom’s fans.
